Port O' Call
Twenty years ago, Frank Gajar opened the Port O’Call...
...and the beach was changed forever. Frank’s goal was to open an upscale restaurant on the Outer Banks. He outfitted the entire restaurant in Victorian antiques and fittings;in the lobby, in the dining rooms, and especially in the Gaslight Saloon. The furnishings brought a decor that is unmatched anywhere else on the island, and helped make it stand out from the crowd.
A Legendary Outer Banks Restaurant
Of course, the fabulous food you can get at the Port O’Call also makes us popular. From seafood to sandwiches, we’ve got what you need to satisfy the biggest appetite. All of our meals are just fantastic. You won’t go home hungry, that’s for sure! And if you’re looking for something to do at night, there’s no better place than right here. We’re constantly bringing in live entertainment. Our stage in the Gaslight Saloon always has both local and national acts coming across it, and there’s a big dance floor, too. And if you need to take a break from the dance floor, you can go upstairs to the Captain’s Lounge, which is open over the saloon, so you can relax and still not miss a thing.
You’ll find out for yourself what makes us the most popular restaurant and night club on the Outer Banks for visitors and locals alike!
