Mojo Collins & More For Charity
'Tis the season of giving and here on the Outer Banks we know how to give right. On Saturday, December 3rd, all the local shops of the 3712 plaza at mile post 4.5 in Kitty Hawk are throwing a local charity event like no other. Each business will be doing something awesome to donate and between super discounts throughout the shops, free beer with donation (yes, I said BEER), a chainsaw performance, plus much more, this will be one charity event you won't want to miss. Especially with Miss Lizzie's presenting Mojo Collins as your live performance! It couldn't get any better.

Mojo Collins is a world renowned folk singer, guitarist and song writer who has played with various nationally and world-wide artists such as Janis Joplin, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Muddy Waters, and Stevie Ray Vaughan but after winning several songwriting awards, including the NC Arts Council Fellowship in Music for Songwriting, Collins followed his dream and retired here on the Outer Banks, which makes this legendary folk and blues artist's performance even more special to this occasion of giving!

would love to see 710oil play here I see them alot in va beach but I live in obx when will they play
As of right now 710 Oil seems to have booked only 8 shows between now and July 2012, all of which are in Chesapeake or Portsmouth, VA. We can keep you updated on local shows as they book, but whether or not 710oil plays here is up to them. I am sure if they see they have a good following on the Outer Banks and if they find a good venue they like, they may decide they want to play on the beach, which would be excellent!
Considering they are a band from Norfolk, I think it’s a good possibility they may play closer in the future. It’s hitting Winter and less and less local places book live music since the business is in the Summer. Next Summer should be better than last summer and we’re expecting to see more upcoming bands play around the beach and we’re constantly seeking new entertainment, so I have a good feeling! Hope this helps you out.
